Dropkick Murphys is a punk rock band formed in Quincy, Massachusetts, United States in 1996. First playing together in the basement of a friend's barbershop, the band made a name for itself because of its relentless touring and for its annual St. Patrick's Day weekend shows in Boston. The band's songs often deal with Celtic influences, and the working-class environment in which the band members grew up.
The band put out a series of EPs and was signed by Rancid frontman Tim Armstrong's label Hellcat Records.
Four years of hard work! This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

#############################Please Note################################## This is my own interpretation of the song.
Verse 1: x's 2
DE -7th A If they can make a law, then I can break a law, D If they can make a law, will the law break me, DE -7th A It comes tumbling down again I can't comprehend, DE -7th Is it destiny. A nomadic state, are you a refugee, AD No place to call your home, forever walk alone, E -7th A As the world goes on, forgotten by the ones you know.
*Repeat 1st Verse*
Chorus:
DE -7th And all the words you gave me, A I lost on bended knee, DE -7th But you can't stop these cravings, A Just by praying they would cease.
DE -7th And all the words you gave me, A I lost on bended knee, DE -7th But you can't stop these cravings, A Just by praying they would cease.
Verse 2:
DE -7th A If I can make a life, then I can take a life, D If I can save a life, will this life save me, DE -7th A Time after time, I still seem to find, DE -7th Your lookin' out for me, so wrap your arms around me, AD Hold me close and don't let go, let me lean on you, E -7th A As I think things through, if I don't we'll never know.
