Bentley's musical style is considered to be more traditional than many of his contemporaries and often contains traditional themes of lost or forbidden love, drinking and cheating. "Lot of leavin' left to do", one of his biggest singles, is also reminiscent of Waylon Jennings' style of Outlaw country with Western Swing influences.
Early life Dierks Bentley was born in Phoenix, Arizona. Then he moved to Lawrenceville, New Jersey, where he attended the Lawrenceville School, graduating in 1993.[1]
Four years of hard work! This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!
Live, Dierks plays it a step down, making the Am a Bm, the F a G, and the C a D. If you want to play it that way, you can just transpose it. I like to play it in regular tuning though. Just personal preference. Sounds exactly the same.
Standard tuning No Capo
