Bentley's musical style is considered to be more traditional than many of his contemporaries and often contains traditional themes of lost or forbidden love, drinking and cheating. "Lot of leavin' left to do", one of his biggest singles, is also reminiscent of Waylon Jennings' style of Outlaw country with Western Swing influences.
Early life Dierks Bentley was born in Phoenix, Arizona. Then he moved to Lawrenceville, New Jersey, where he attended the Lawrenceville School, graduating in 1993.[1]

Verse 2 Come a little closer, baby, I feel like letting go Of everything that stands between and the love we used to know I wanna touch you like a Cleansing rain and let it wash all the hurt away So come a little closer, baby, I feel like lettin' go
Verse 3 Come a little closer, baby, I feel like strippin it down. Back to the basics of you and me and what makes the world go round. Every inch of you against my skin, I wanna be stronger than we've ever been. So, come a little closer, baby, I feel like strippin' it down.
