The Crash Test Dummies are a Canadian rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The band is most identifiable through Brad Roberts (vocals, guitar) and his distinctive bass-baritone voice. The band members have fluctuated over the years, but its best known line-up consisted of Roberts, Ellen Reid (co-vocals, keyboards), Brad's brother Dan Roberts (bass guitar, backing vocals), Benjamin Darvill (harmonica, mandolin), and Mitch Dorge (drums, percussion).
Four years of hard work! This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!
At My Funeral - Crash Test Dummies transcribed by Stefano Serafin, [email protected]
I found a wrong version of this song in the archive, so I give my own. This is transcribed from a bootleg recording made when CTD came to Italy some years ago, so it might be a bit different from the original.

When my coffin is sealed and I'm safely six feet under Perhaps my friends will see fit then to judge me When they pause to consider all my blunders I hope they won't be too quick to begrudge me
Won't you come To my funeral when my days are done Life's not long And so I hope when I am finally dead and gone that you'll gather round As I am lowered into the ground

I can't be sure where I'm headed after death To heaven to hell or beyond to the great vast But if I can I would like to meet my maker There's one or two things I'd sure like to ask
Won't you come To my funeral when my days are done Life's not long And so I hope when I am finally dead and gone that you'll gather round As I am lowered into the ground
