Biography:
Common Kings produce phenomenal pop hits with rock, reggae, R&B and classic soul influences. Lead singer JR King (Hawaii/Samoa), guitarist Taumata Grey (Samoa), bassist Ivan Kirimaua (Fiji/Kiribati), and drummer Jerome Taito (Tonga) grew up in dynamic households filled with vibrant passion for music. Four years of hard work!This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!
A guitar student of mine asked me to teach her this song. I have only found a piano tab
for it, so here is what I have come up with to transcribe it for acoustic guitar. Capo
on 4 if you wish to play along with the Common Kings recording. It’s a piano song and
the chords are not exact. I have also tried to keep it as simple as possible for
beginner guitarists.
