Three Evils Embodied in Love and Shadow
by Coheed and Cambria.
All I've ever wanted with guitar is to strum some chords and jam out my favorite songs.
There weren't any chord diagrams for this song, so imaedit.
Disclaimer: The Chords throughout the Verses aren't song acurate, They serve for simplicty of playing and
will play through the song nicely. these chords create a simpler rythm when attempting to sing
and play at first. This helps find where all those syllables fit in the song. If you're like me, you'll end up
replacing this simpler pattern for the trickier intro pattern you here in the song.
Also, The intro I have listed isn't song accurate either, but a simplier substitute that will work for
intro and throughout the verses.

A F# E A F# E A
Across the floor, in the hand of where we drove the drill

A cautious ear to the mouth of your confession

In the face of his god, would he tell the truth?
A F# E A F# E
Still, recorded were the words that dribbled out his kiss
A F# E
When eyes go blind in this man of what could once become
B5
Sever the limbs off his torso, in sleep
And burn what remains, so the world may now see
A F# E A F# E A
No longer will we wait for your answers
A F# E
Back to the hell where you've come from
B5
Think of all the times you've once had

Throughout these last choruses I have the first Emaj listed for simplicity. When I play this song I use a
more subtle Ab Chord (Which is really Emaj Omitting the 2nd fret A string note)x02100. It adds a subtle warmth
and creates the fluid descension of notes heard in the song, rather than the jumping to-and-fro of notes we
hear previously in the song. Of course the Emaj works great for keeping the song simple to play through.
Also, the D5 for these choruses I play with open chords. (Which is a Dmaj omitting the 2nd fret high E string
note). EADGBE x00230
And lastly, the C#5 is optional. It gives it that signature coheed sound we hear throughout their music.
Totally optional though, the song plays just fine without it.
All these suggestions completley optional of course! These are just the basic notes, feel free to play
whichever way sounds best to you!
[Chorus]
Asus2 E
Dear, my friends
F#
In the time we've spent
E
Forever after, beyond this
D5
When will our nightmare ever end, end, end?
