[Verse 1] E When the sun goes down E On my side of town E That lonesome feeling E Comes to my door AE The whole world, turns blue
[Verse 2] E There's a rundown bar E 'Cross the railroad tracks E I've got a table for two E Way in the back A Where I sit alone E And think of you
[Pre-Chorus] A I spend most every night B Beneath the light E Of a neon moon
[Chorus] AB If you lose your one and only AB There's always room here for the lonely A To watch your broken dreams B Dance in and out of the beams E Of a neon moon
[Verse 3] E I think of two young lovers E Running wild and free E I close my eyes E And sometimes see A You in the shadows E Of this smoke-filled room
[Verse 4] E No telling how many tears E I've sat here and cried E Or how many lies E That I've lied A Telling my poor heart E You will come back one day
[Pre-Chorus] A I spend most every night B Beneath the light E Of a neon moon
[Chorus] AB If you lose your one and only AB There's always room here for the lonely A To watch your broken dreams B Dance in and out of the beams E Of a neon moon
EEEEAE
[Outro] A But I'll be alright B As long as there's light E From a neon moon A And I'll be alright B As long as there's light E From a neon moon
