Song: 25 or 6 to 4
Artist: Chicago
Composer: Robert Lamm
Album: Chicago
Tabbed by DJ 29th Aug 2015
The power chord intro riff also works for the brass break,
and on into the verses, and could be used throughout the song,
but played on one guitar, switching between the two progressions
where I've indicated, I think is more interesting.
This bass riff could be added to the last line of the verses:
F F (F/G)(F/A)(F/B) C
1. Sitting cross -legged on the floor----
2. Should I try to do some more----?
3. Twenty five or six to four-----
e |--1----1--------------------------|--0-----------|
B |--1----1--------------------------|--1-----------|
G |--2----2--------------------------|--0-----------|
D |--3----3--------------------------|--2-----------|
A |--3----3-------------------0--2---|--3-----------|
E |--1----1---------1----3-----------|--------------|
For the coda, although I recommend the power chord option, at the
bottom of my tab I also include the chords the brass section plays.

Just for completeness, below are the full chords for the coda.
These jazzy chords sound very dramatic with the trumpet, sax and
trombone trio, and might even work well on keyboards, but, personally,
I think the sus5 alternative above works better if there is only a
single guitar for accompaniment.
