It all started with a double bass player, a guitarist and a violinist; all highly talented musicians who are really into swing, Django addicts who enjoy tinkering with electro. Their project swayed a singer, a clarinettist, a trombonist who doubles up on percussion and a guitarist who also acts as DJ. With their “Zazou” look (inspired by Parisian paleo-punks from the 1940s), they serve up festive, frantic music, an improbable futuristic and melodious Charleston fit for the dance floor.
Four years of hard work! This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!
This is a translation of the synth/piano arpeggios at the beginning of the song, along with the chord progression associated, the chords used in the intro are the same throughout whole song (excluding outro) the progression just modulates up by half step twice
The modulations occur 16 measures after the strings come in playing the main melody, taking the whole progression up a half-step. Please keep in mind this was all by ear, any suggestions or corrections are welcomed warmly
