Biography:

Charles Hardin Holley (September 7, 1936 – February 3, 1959), known as Buddy Holly, was an American musician, singer-songwriter and record producer who was a central and pioneering figure of mid-1950s rock and roll.

He was born in Lubbock, Texas, to a musical family during the Great Depression, and learned to play guitar and sing alongside his siblings. His style was influenced by gospel music, country music, and rhythm and blues acts, and he performed in Lubbock with his friends from high school.

This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

Slippin' And Slidin':Buddy Holly.
Album - Reminiscing, released in '63.
It was released as a single in 1957 as
a cover to Little Richard's version. But Holly
omitted one of the verses and did only the two as I
put them down.
The original recording is in bad shape but I believe
I got it all right.

the Everly's 'Bird Dog,' fairly fast. Then
he slides into a rock shuffle in A to D
