G The sun is warm as the day is long G I just got the feeling I can do no wrong C I've got a long way to walk C Can't afford my next meal D I tell a few lies but my hunger is real G And it won't mean a thing in a hundred years G No, it won't mean a thing in a hundred years G Mademoiselle tell me do you play G Well, if she shakes her head, well then that's okay CG I watch her walk away in haste D There's just no accounting for some people's taste, G And it won't mean a thing in a hundred years G No, it won't mean a thing in a hundred years G Big angry man in the doorway there G Just keep on walking like I don't care C Why you giving such an evil eye D Could it be you were ignored by every passerby G And it won't mean a thing in a hundred years G No, it won't mean a thing in a hundred years
G Play in the park for tobacco and food G Then I excuse myself but they think I'm rude C Tourist don't want me to end his show D But this colorful attraction got places to go G And it won't mean a thing in a hundred years G No, it won't mean a thing in a hundred years
[Sax Solo] FG
G Sit at the pier watch the sun go down G Another lost little boy in a big old town C I want to laugh I want to cry D But no matter how hard I may try G It won't mean a thing in a hundred years G No, it won't mean a thing in a hundred years G It won't mean a thing in a hundred years G No, it won't mean a thing in a hundred years
