The recording is played in Eb, but to my ear it sounds like it’s played in C with a capo on the 3rd fret.
As well as staying true to the original sound, this makes it an easy song for novices - and nice and slow!
If you want to step it up, hammer on the middle finger of the C chord at the start of the lines,
taking that note from an open D note to the second fret E.
