[Verse]
A I thought surely I would not find it again A How I was wrong It is as fateful as sin C#7D6E7 This feeling that I belong to something in some way 'til the end A And I am making an effort to stay A With you here it has been easy to say C#7D6E7 That I could never lose sight of what my heart truly is AG But the moment you step away AG I am forced to look in and face AGE All the things that I have ever been without you AG It is true, at times, one can see I am strong AG I am not at home, yet I know where I belong AG I am silence now, but I am always song E Can you hear me?

[Verse]
A I thought this time last year I'd be dead A It's quite strange the thoughts that pop into your head C#7D6E7 When you're busy smiling surrounded by your closest of friends A It is impossible to escape the sound A Of the dark that is following around C#7D6E7 But I just go for a walk in my mind and the light can be found AG And the moment I step away AG You are forced to look in and face AGE All the things that you've ever been without me AG It is true/at times, one can see you are strong AG You are not at home, yet you know where you belong AG You are silence now, but you are always song E I can hear you
