Bm Oh the wind whistles down G The cold dark street tonight DF# And the people they were dancing to the music vibe Bm And the boys chase the girls
With the curls in their hair G And the shy tormented youth sit way over there D And the songs they get louder F# Each one better than before
[Chorus]
Bm And you’re singing the songs
Thinking this is the life G And you wake up in the morning and your head feels twice the size D Where you gonna go
Where you gonna go F# Where you gonna sleep tonight Bm And you’re singing the songs
Thinking this is the life G And you wake up in the morning and your head feels twice the size D Where you gonna go
Where you gonna go F# Where you gonna sleep tonight

Bm So you’re heading down the road
In your taxi for four G And you’re waiting outside Jimmy’s front door DF# But nobody’s in and nobody’s home ‘til four Bm So you’re sitting there with nothing to do G Talking about Robert Riger and his motley crew DF# And where you’re gonna go and where you’re gonna sleep tonight
