This Is The Life - Amy MacDonald Tabbed by pigeonfarmer2.0([email protected])
Nice song, very easy to learn once you get used to the rythmn; i was tired of trying to an accurate tab for this so i just decided to work it out myself, this is standard and no capo needed.
The verse is a nice easy progression, and it has very natural feel, you just need to get to the jumpy rythmn and the speed of the lyrics. Chorus and verse are very similar and fill in/bridge bits are just plain easy to work out youselves.
If its of any use to you the basic rythmn is of the song is, "1 2 and 3 and 4 and 1 2 and 3 and 4 and 1 2 and 3 and 4 and..." might be useful or it might not but i'm sure you can pick it up anyway.
Tab
Starts with light muting riff on the 4th fret, goes on for a couple of bars then into verse.
Just for those of you too lazy to work out the fill ins for yourself... while its to play it around the 2nd fret(as i've tabbed it), i myself think it sounds much nicer on the 3rd string, around the 6-9th frets; its got a sound.
Intro (+ muting riff) Verse 1 Chorus Fill In x1 Verse 2 Chorus Fill In x2 Bridge - very quiet, played mainly on keyboard or second guitar, very spanish sounding i can't be bothered to try tabbing it here!! Chorus
