Verse: (for the background guitar, you do the picking pattern above of the chords given [P.I.A.M]) G We found ourselves on top of a mountain peak
The air was thin as a beggar's sleeve CG The city lights were miles away G The hush was as thick as your winter coat
And you wrote our names in the morning snow CG With the fallen twigs and berries saved
Chorus: AmC Well, don't be scared of avalanches EmC Tucked up in my snowy branches G I will C Oh I will G Oh I will AmCG I will keep you safe
G
G The sun is overhead and you lift your face
Up to the sky and you sing this place CG The sweetest song it's ever known G Then slowly the deer and the rabbits crept
Outside to hear, the grizzlies left C Their great big teeth and their claws G At home
AmC Don't be scared of avalanches EmCG Tucked up in my snowy branches, I will AmC And look how well the gray wolf dances EmC You bring light and second chances G I will C Oh I will G Oh oh I will C Oh oh I will G Oh oh I will C Yes, I will
