The Avett Brothers is an American folk-rock band that originated in Concord, North Carolina. Two brothers, Seth Avett and Scott Avett, formed the group in 2000 after the breakup of the former rock band, Nemo, adding a third member, Bob Crawford. Subsequently, they have been joined by cellist Joe Kwon. The Avett Brothers combine old-time country, bluegrass, punk, pop melodies, folk, rock and roll, honky tonk and ragtime to produce a sound described by the Washington Post as "post civil-war modern rock", or by other reviewers as "grungegrass".

GC Well you send my life a whirling
G Darling when you're twirling
D On the floor
GC And who cares about tomorrow?
G What more is tomorrow?
D Than another day.
EmCG When you swept me away
EmCG Yeah you swept me away
GC La la la la la la la la
GD La la la la la la la la
GC I see the end of the rainbow
G But what more is a rainbow
D Than colors out of reach
GC If you come down to my window
G And I climb out my window
D Then we'll get out of reach
EmCG Then you swept me away
EmCG Yeah you swept me away
G You said
C with such honest feeling
G But what'd you really mean when
D you said that I'm your man
G Well how
C my darling can it be
G When you have never seen me
D And you never will again
EmCG That you swept me away
EmCG Yeah you swept me away
G Well life
C is ever changing but I
G can always find a constant
D And a comfort in your love
G With your
C heart my soul is bound
G And as we dance I surely know that
D Some kind of heaven will be found
GC And you send my life a whirling
G Darling with you're twirling
D On the floor
GC And who cares about tomorrow?
G Girl, what more is tomorrow?
D Than another day.
EmCG When you swept me away
EmCG Yeah you swept me away
EmCG Yeah you swept me away
