GGmaj7 Was it you who spoke the words that things would happen but not to me
Em Oh things are gonna happen naturally
Am Oh taking your advice and I'm looking on the bright side
CD And balancing the whole thing
GGmaj7 Oh but often times those words they get tangled up in lines
Em And the bright light turns to night
Am Oh until the dawn it brings another day to sing
CD About the magic that was you and me
GGmaj7 Cause you and I both loved
Em What you and I spoke of
Am And others just read of
CD Others only read of the love
GGmaj7 Of the love that I love
Em yeah la-be-de-dum
G See I'm all about them words
Gmaj7Em Over numbers, unencumbered numbered words
Am Hundreds of pages, pages, pages forwards
CD More words than I had ever heard and I feel so alive
GGmaj7 Cause you and I both loved
Em What you and I spoke of
Am And others just read of
CD And if you could see me now oh love love
G You and I you and I
Gmaj7Em Not so little you and I anymore
Am And with this silence brings a moral story
CD more importantly evolving is the glory of a boy
