Fall Out Boy is a band formed in 2001 in Glenview, Illinois after good friends Joe Trohman and Pete Wentz met high schooler Patrick Stump. Stump originally auditioned as a drummer, but soon became the lead singer. The following year, the band debuted with a self-released demo and followed it up with the May 28, 2002 release of Split EP, which featured Project Rocket, on Uprising Records. The group released a mini-LP, Evening Out With Your Girlfriend, also on Uprising Records, in 2003.

Verse 1:
Em I got those jet pack blues
C Just like Judy
G The kind that makes June feel like September
D I’m the last one that you’ll ever remember
Em And I’m trying to find that peace of mind
C Behind these two white highway lines
G When the city goes silent
D The ringing in my ears gets violent
Pre-Chorus:
EmCG She’s in a long black coat tonight
EmCG Waiting for me in the downpour outside
EmCG She’s singing “Baby come home” in a melody of tears
EmCG While the rhythm of the rain keeps time
Chorus:
CD And I remember ”Baby, come home”
EmG I remember ”Baby, come home”
CD I remember ”Baby, come home”
EmG I remember ”Baby, come home”
CD Did you ever love her? Do you know?
EmG Or did you never want to be alone?
CD And she was singing “Baby, come home”
EmG "Baby, come home"
Verse 2:

D The sweetness never lasted, no
