SWING LIFE AWAY - Rise Against Tabbed by: Jason Scott Email: [email protected] Tuning: Half-step down This song's chords are easy; however, it took a long time for this noob to find the right way to palm mute and have the right strum pattern. It's a great way to learn palm muting!

[Verse 1] EmGCadd9 Am I loud and clear or am I breaking up? EmGCadd9 Am I still your charm or am I just bad luck? EmGCadd9Asus Are we getting closer, or are we just getting more lost? EmGCadd9 I'll show you mine if you show me yours first EmGCadd9 Let's compare scars I'll tell you whose is worse EmGCadd9Asus Let's unwrite these pages and replace them with our own words
[Chorus] EmGCadd9Asus We live on front porches and swing life away
EmGCadd9Asus We get by just fine here on minimum wage
EmGCadd9Asus If love is a labor I'll slave 'til the end
EmGCadd9Asus I won't cross these streets until you hold my hand
[Verse 2] EmGCadd9 I've been here so long; think that its time to move EmGCadd9 The winter's so cold summer's over too soon EmGCadd9Asus so let's pack our bags and settle down where palm trees grow EmGCadd9 I've got some friends, some that I hardly know EmGCadd9 But we've had some times I wouldn't trade for the world EmGCadd9Asus We chase these days down with talks of the places that we will go
[Chorus] EmGCadd9Asus We live on front porches and swing life away EmGCadd9Asus We get by just fine here on minimum wage EmGCadd9Asus If love is a labor I'll slave 'til the end EmGCadd9Asus I won't cross these streets until you hold my hand Cadd9Asus Until you hold my hand EmGCadd9 Swing life away EmGCadd9 Swing life away EmGCadd9Asus Swing life away EmGCadd9 Swing life away
