Rainbow was a British rock band formed by Deep Purple founder and former guitarist Ritchie Blackmore in 1975. In addition to Blackmore, the band originally consisted of former Elf lead singer Ronnie James Dio, bassist Craig Gruber, drummer Gary Driscoll, and keyboardist Micky Lee Soule. Over the years, Rainbow went through many lineup changes. including bringing in other vocalists Graham Bonnet and Joe Lynn Turner, before it folded in 1999.
The name of the band was inspired by the Rainbow Bar and Grill
Four years of hard work! This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!
The original poster wrote: "A great song I first heard on their best of album from 1997. I decided to work out the chords so I could include this in my solo set, so this is only the chords as I could work them out. It's how I play it myself, so places are probably wrong, and not having a backing group, i haven't tabbed the solo/intro. Anyway, enjoy."
I have fixed up the chords as they appear in the song. The minor-major changes are what make this song great, imho. Enjoy! chords-by-ear, [email protected]
