3/4, Ab major, Capo 1
Without Capo:
G = Ab
C = Db
Em = Fm
D = Eb
If you want to play the piano part: (tabs ignoring capo)
e|---8-----8-----8-----8-----9-----9-----9-----9--------|
B|-----9-----9-----9-----9-----9-----9-----9-----9------|
G|-------8-----8-----8-----8-----10----10----10----10---|
D|------------------------------------------------------|
A|------------------------------------------------------|
E|------------------------------------------------------|
Alternatively, the B, G, and D strings on the open G and D line up with these notes on
an octave lower than the original part. I play the high part for the verse and open chords
strummed once each for the chorus
[Intro]

[Chorus]

(keep strumming your root C into Slip Away, Db without capo)
The first chorus is played without chords in the live version. The three notes before
the drop are the same as the G chord during the chorus (8-9-8), played where the D is played
during the second chorus. The drop is an alternation between G and C just like the verse, but
it sounds better as a long-held G if you arent singing the part at the same time.
