F Last night I couldn’t sleep Bb I got up and started walking F Down to the end of my street C And on into town F Where I had no one to meet BbBbm And I had no taste for talking F Seems I’m talking my whole life CF It’s time I listened now
F Well, I walked past the late night boys Bb With their bottles in their doorways F And I walked past the business men C Sleeping like babies in their cars F And I thought to myself for some BbBbm You may be lost in more ways then one F But I’ve a feeling that it’s more fun CF Then knowing exactly where you are
FBb And like a storm F Carried on the river Bb And like a boat C Sailing on the sea F And I keep on walking BbBbm Oh, I keep on walking FBbBbm Till I find that old love or that old love CF Comes to find me
F I walked into the morning Bb Felt the warm sunlight forming on my shoulders F Cause it hit me with no warning
Like a summer sky a storming C In my lungs F Ain’t it funny how the kids walk by BbBbm Doing anything to make themselves look older F While the women spend their money on CF Anything that makes them look young
FBb And like a storm F Carried on the river Bb And like a boat C Sailing on the sea F And I keep on walking BbBbm Oh, I keep on walking FBbBbm Till I find that old love or that old love CF Comes to find me
FBb Oh, Lord Lord F Oh, Lord Lord Bb Oh, Lord Lord C Oh, Lord Lord
FBb And like a storm F Carried on the river Bb And like a boat C Sailing on the sea F And I keep on walking BbBbm Oh, I keep on walking FBb Till I find that old love or that old love CF Comes to find me
FBb Till I find that old love or that old love CF Comes to find me
