Is it cruel or kind not to speak my mind

Dm G
and to lie to you rather than hurt you

C Em
Well I'll confess all of of my sins

after several large gins

Dm
but still I'll hide from you

G
hide what's inside from you

C Em
And alarm bells ring

Am C
when you say your heart still sings

Dm
when you're with me

Won't you please forgive me

C Em
But I no longer hear the music

Am C
Oh no no no no no
