No Use for a Name (often abbreviated NUFAN) was a punk rock band from San Jose, California. They were formed in 1987 by Tony Sly and Rory Koff. The band is highly praised in the skate punk and hardcore scenes, though their sound has evolved considerably through the years, taking on a much lighter and poppier brand of melodic punk.
NUFAN's debut album, Incognito, was released in 1990 through New Red Archives. The band has released a single and one more full-length on this label, until signing up with Fat Mike's label, Fat Wreck Chords, on 1993.

G#D#BC# More times than five, I've been right here by your side. EBD# Still wondering...where did you go? G#D#BC# Walk down the hall in a mental menacle; EF# Don't want to be round, when you take yourself out.
BF# But I have more vigour than this. G#D# Step to the plate to swing and miss. BF#G#B And it's a complicated life, C#E When how you live is how you die.
G#D#BC# Looks like your soul is connected to a wall. EBD# A photograph stands by the bed, G#D#BC# Of better times, when we crumbled with our spine, EF# But lived the next day, and put the malice away.
BF# And that's when I noticed the drip, G#D# Ignored the line that didn't skip. BF#G#B It seemed the blue suburban sky C#E Turned to grey, polluted night.
BF# So now you sleep inside the space. G#D# A bed of roses, the thorns are placed. BF#G#BC# No more sleepless nights, just for me, EB But as for you, the memory.
