A Where was I before you found me? E Who was I and what had bound me? A Where was love and understanding? E Why was living so demanding?
A You were on the snow capped mountains E You were in the deep blue ocean A Down below the wind and thunder E In a perfect world of wonder
A You were calling, come back to me E How long has it been, my only? A I was listening and I heard you E When I did I finally found you AA Oh, oh, oh, oh EE Oh, oh, oh, oh AA Oh, oh, oh, oh EE Oh, oh, oh, oh
[Instrumental]
A Everything you touched is living E This whole universe is giving A What was once inside you, dreaming E Is now the life that you are leading
A I was with you, baby, crying E I was there when you were dying A Underneath the sound and silence E In the gospel and in science AA Oh, oh, oh, oh EE Oh, oh, oh, oh AA Oh, oh, oh, oh EE Oh, oh, oh, oh
A Come to me, my perfect lover E We are one, there is no other A In every face I see you clearly E Oh my friend, I love you dearly AA Oh, oh, oh, oh EE Oh, oh, oh, oh AA Oh, oh, oh, oh EE Oh, oh, oh, oh
