Mando Diao are a rock band from Borlänge, Sweden. According to the band, the name Mando Diao has no meaning at all, but rather appeared to band member Björn Dixgård in a dream. Their sound is influenced by The Animals and Oasis.
The roots of Mando Diao date back to 1995 when Björn Dixgård was a member of a band called Butler. Band members came and went; four years later, the remaining line-up chose to proceed more seriously in their musical efforts.

[Verse 1] I feel dizzy all laid back and I'm too blind to see What's going on outside my lonely window I'm turning on the TV screen watch the news for a while Then I fall back to sleep again
[Chorus] G And I'm dreaming 'bout times, times that are gone EAm Times when I lived alone in my own land called ochrasy D That place was everything to me
The world I made it up you see G It's all there in my fantasy
And I believe it
[Verse 2] I'm waking up again and see that war on screen again And it makes me want to go and hide This world is full of misery, the anger is too big to see That's why I had to dream this dream
[Chorus] G And I'm dreaming 'bout times, times that are gone EAm Times when I lived alone in my own land called ochrasy D That place was everything to me
The world I made it up you see G It's all there in my fantasy
And I believe it
[Verse 3] Now they come again all these soldiers without shame Dressed in black an equipped with fire They can stop our happy days and put us in the graves But never reach the ochrasy
[Chorus] G And I'm dreaming 'bout times, times that are gone EAm Times when I lived alone in my own land called ochrasy D That place was everything to me
The world I made it up you see G It's all there in my fantasy
And I believe it
[Verse 4] I'm waking up again and see that war on screen again And it makes me want to go and hide This world is full of misery the anger is too big to see That's why I had to dream this dream
