[Verse] Bm You sucked me in and played my mind Bm Just like a toy, you were cranked and wind A Baby, I would give till you wore it out A You left me lying in a pool of doubt A And you're still thinkin' you're the Daddy Mac AD You should've known better, but you didn't and I can't go back
[Chorus] DA Oh, life goes on Bm And it's only gonna make me strong G It's a fact A Once you get on board D Say good-bye 'cause you can't go back A Oh, it's a fight Bm And I really wanna get it right G Where I'm at A Is my life before me D And this feelin' that I can go back
[Interlude] ABmGA
[Verse] Bm Wish I knew then what I know now Bm You held all the cards and sold me out A Baby, shame on you if you fool me once A Shame on me if you fool me twice A You've been a pretty hard case to crack A Should've known better, but I didn't D And I can't go back
