Biography:
Zwan fue una banda rock liderada por el ex-cantante y guitarrista de The Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Corgan junto a miembros de Tortoise, Chavez y A Perfect Circle. El proyecto tuvo una corta vida, ya que para 2003 se encontraban separados luego de dos años juntos.
Tras la separación de The Smashing Pumpkins, Billy Corgan y el baterista Jimmy Chamberlin juntaron fuerzas con Matt Sweeney (Chavez) para comenzar Zwan. Sweeney reclutó a David Pajo (Slint, Tortoise), y la banda debutó como un cuarteto a fines de 2001.
