Biography:
YAWAR, vocablo Quechua que significa SANGRE, tomado en sentido cosanguíneo de hermandad, es el nombre que identifica a esta agrupación.
La expresión musical de YAWAR es un "CANTO VIVENCIAL" que siendo cosmopolita en su forma, no deja de ser auténticamente peruana. Su música expresa un mestizaje rico e intenso, producto del medio andino transmitido a través de generaciones y del medio occidental presente en su vida urbana y actual.
