Stone

Hey y'all, this is the first tab I've made in a
while so if there are any mistakes I apologize.I listened to the song
as I tabbed it, and it sounded spot on without any capo or alternate
tunings. But as goes with most songs, you can capo or transpose it
down to fit with your singing style. If you find any corrections that
need to be made, just let me know.
[Intro]
Am F C x2
[Verse 1]
Am F C Am
Well the night is my companion
F C Am
And the highway is my home
F C Am
Got me seeking for one last beacon
F C Am
Every single place I roam
F C Am
They say Jesus was a poor man
F C Am
Guess I wish I had a little more Him in me
F C Am
Make it easier goin' on livin'
F C
With heartache and misery
[Chorus]
F C G
Sweet, sweet heart of mine
Am F
I'm gonna break again a million times
F C G Am
Is this too far gone
F C G Am
Or have you turned to stone
Am F C x2
[Verse 2]
Am F C Am
Well I guess I've got my bottle
F C Am
I stay on it all the time
F C Am
But it keeps me smilin' and singin'
F C Am
Helps me fall asleep a little bit better at night
Am F C Am
They say life is like a dagger
F C Am
Backstage is full of parasites
F C Am
They'll love you and drain you of everything you own
F C
Just to feel better about their lives
[Chorus]
F C G
Sweet, sweet heart of mine
Am F
I'm gonna break again a million times
F C G Am
Is this too far gone
F C G Am
Or have you turned to stone
[Piano interlude]
F Am F Am
F Am F G
[Chorus]

Sweet, sweet heart of mine
Am F
I'm gonna break again a million times

If you're playing without a lead guitarist, you can just fade out after the first set of the
chords in the solo. That sounded pretty good to me.
