Secondhand Serenade is a one man band from Menlo Park, California. John Vesely, 30, sings and plays guitar and piano. His music is characterized by multitrack recording so he can create the sound of a band by himself. He uses multitrack recording to create vocal harmonies, and a lead acoustic guitar over strummed chords.
After the breakup of Sounds Like Life, featuring himself and Ronnie Day, Vesely started writing and performing his songs solo under the name Secondhand Serenade.

C# In the moonlight E Your face it glows A Like a thousand diamonds C# I suppose E And your hair flows like A The ocean breeze C# Not a million fights E Could make me hate you A You're invincible C# Yeah It's true E It's in your eyes A Where I find peace
C# Is it broken E Can we work it out AB Let's light up the town scream out loud C# Is it broken E Can we work it out A I can see in your eyes BA You're ready to break
Don't look away
C#EA
C# So here we are now E In a place where A The sun blended C# With the ocean thin EA So thin we stand C# Across from each other E Together we'll wonder AC# If we will last these days E If I asked you to stay A Would you tell me C# You would be mine EA
C# And time E Is all I ask for A Time C#EA I just need one more day C# And time E You've been crying too long A Time C#E And your tears wrote this song A Stay
C# In the moonlight EA Your face it glows
C# Is it broken E Can we work it out AB Let's light up the town scream out loud C# Is it broken E Can we work it out A I can see in your eyes BA You're ready to break
