Lightning Seeds are an alternative/pop band, largely the brainchild of writer, singer and guitarist Ian Broudie (born 4th August 1958 in Liverpool, England). The band currently consists of Ian Broudie (vocals, guitar), Riley Broudie (guitar), Martyn Campbell (bass), Angie Pollock (keyboard) and Jack Prince (drums). Co-founder Simon Rogers, although no longer a member of the band, still works with them during album recordings. They are best known for three songs: 1989's "Pure", 1992's "The Life of Riley" and 1996's "Three Lions"

THE LIGHTNING SEEDS: Sweet Dreams
Intro: AE (several times) A
EAE He is coming down with some kind of cold, she's running round A He's feeling old, he needs the rest, but she wants more EA And then he blows like a hurricane and tears pour out and fall like rain
BABA But she'll keep holding on 'cause it's all that she wants BAE And she's dreaming sweet dreams tonight And with a smile that says for him she's hea-ven sent She's dreaming sweet dreams tonight
Like a wagon wheel you make me feel You spin me round, like I was just your clown
She is going down, down to the other side of town With open eyes that see the truth but can't see more 'Cause he might blow light a hurricane, and tears pour out and fall like rain
AE Ooh, you, you, you've got your hooks in me AEB But, oh, I'd never want for you to set me free, keep a hold on me
And she hopes that he'll be coming And he hopes she knows that he'll come running
You've got to tell yourself to take the blows Like you have a hundred times before And dream those sweet dreams tonight -- -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tim Villa [email protected] Pantera Digest: mail subscription requests to [email protected] --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
