I'm not sure what that last chord is ... it sounds like D#m.
On the 2nd fret, I play it as an A, but with the third string down a fret (an inverse D shifted up a string).
Suggestions welcome!!

A C#m A C#m
[Verse 1]
A C#m
I figured by now that you'd found another
A C#m
Who will walk you to the promenade
D
Who ain't that funny but he dresses nice
E A
And never has you thinking twice
D Em
About how much you're on his mind
A C#m
I figured by now that you'd found another
A C#m
Who at least would help to pass the time
D
And that you did, or so you said
E A
And in your room he laid his head
D E
About where I used to lay mine
[Pre-Chorus 1]
A C#m
Ooooooh
D E
I'm in a cave with only candlelight
A C#m
Ooooooh
D E
But what the hell did I think it'd be like?
[Instrumental]
E
[Chorus]
D
Maybe like the movies
A
But really just the end
E
When he meets her right back
A
Where it all began
D
That used to be a big field
A
But now it's hard and dry
E
For people who need healing
A
Just like you and I
[Verse 2]
A C#m
It's funny how I fight to keep you closer
A C#m
Knowing all too well just what that means
D
There's so much there to see and hear
E A
To duck and dodge and hope and fear
D E
My god have we learned anything?
[Pre-Chorus 2]
A C#m
Ooooooh
D E
I'm coming home but only for the night
A C#m
Ooooooh
D E
But what the hell did we think it'd be like?
[Instrumental]
E
[Chorus]
D
Maybe like the movies
A
But really just the end
E
When he meets her right back
