Eyes Of A Baby (S. Hoffs/D. Baerwald/J. Keltner/G. Leisz/L. Klein/D. Kitay) Vocal/Electric Guitar: Susanna Hoffs
>From Susanna Hoffs self-titled album released in 1996. (London Records 422 828 820 2) (Trust me.... it's a very enjoyable CD!)
Performed on acoustic or electric guitar and interpreted from live performance by Susanna Hoffs. This is my own interpretation based on the viewing of Ms. Hoffs in concert.
If you have anything to add to this or any other Susanna Hoffs song tabs (or Bangles tabs that aren't listed in OLGA) please send them to me.
*This is revised with slight chord changes (Mar/98)* by Scott McLachlan ([email protected])
D It was five o'clock in a dying city D I was putting on makeup, trying to feel pretty EmG Looked around my tidy little home D Ohhhh, I was tired of being alone
D Had an eight o'clock date with a man I never met D I hate to be late so I headed east on Sunset EmG Thinking anything is better D Than being alone
Chorus:
D Now I'm looking in the eyes of my baby D Now I'm looking in the eyes of my man EmGD No one ever could be more surprised than me EmG Did you see him smile? D Did you see him smile? EmG Did you see him smile? D Dim you see him smile?
D There was fog in the road, it was like I was driving blind D All the faces I've known kept running around in my mind EmG I was right to keep looking, I was right to look ahead D You never know what you might find
D I was feeling so old and naive at the very same time D I had no idea if I could even talk to a guy EmG If I could run, if I could leave, if I could hide D You know I would but then there he was and it was time
Chorus:
D Now I'm looking in the eyes of my baby D Now I'm looking in the eyes of my man EmGD No one ever could be more surprised than me EmG Did you see him smile? D Did you see him smile? EmG Did you see him smile? D Dim you see him smile?
D Now we're looking in the eyes of a baby D Now we're looking in the eyes of a child EmGD No one ever could be more surprised than me EmG Did you see him smile? D Did you see him smile? EmG ..................... D ..................... EmG Did you see him smile? D ..................... EmG Did you see him smile? D Did you see him smile?
