KILLING THE BLUES- Roly Salley

(Capo 1) Intro: E...Esus4...E...Esus4

E Esus4 E Esus4
Leaves were falling, just like embers,

E E7 A
In colors- red and gold, they set us on fire

Asus2 E Esus4 E
Burning just like moonbeams in our eyes

B7 E A
CHOURUS: Somebody said they saw me, swinging the world by the tail

A Asus2 E B7 E Esus E Esus4
Bouncing over a white cloud, killing the blues.

Now I am guilty of something...
I hope you never do
Because there is nothing
Any sadder than losing yourself in love

CHORUS

And then you've asked me...just to leave you
To set out on my own
And get what I needed.
You want me to find what I've already had.

CHORUS 2x
