Mothermania was an US ska/punk-rock band from Asbury Park, New Jersey. It consisted of the members Jeff Plate (vocals, guitar), Sam Crowell (bass) and Brad Chevalier-Kolling (drums). They put out the three DIY releases "Absolutely No No", "John and Mary's Snapshot Album" and "Poup Du 'Jour" which mostly featured ska-influenced tunes. In 1997, they were signed to Drive Thru Records and released a more punk-influenced album called "The Sound And The Fury". Shortly after that, the band broke up.
This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

Lyrics by Jeff Plate Music by Jeff Plate, Sam Crowell, and Brandon Kolling
This is a real simple song that sounds really good for how easy it is.
(verse 1) EmGC EmGC I studied the fire, that burnt down the miar, and all of the animals inside EmGC EmGC It doesn't make me sick, this part of the trick, I don't give a damn that they died
(chorus) (w/distortion) (with out distortion) EmGEmG CEmGC They all asked me, to leave them be-hey-hey-hey you, leave them be
(verse 2) EmGC EmGC I studied the wave, that filled up the grave, and the air wasn't sure and fine tonight EmGC EmGC I studied the blade, that ripped out the page in the book that is what we call life
(chorus) (solo) (chorus) (2x) (end)
That's basically the whole song minus the solo which I will tab once I get the time.
