The co-founder, keyboard player, and one of the three principal singers of the Moody Blues, Mike Pinder was a very visible presence in early progressive rock circles. A pioneering user of the early electronic keyboard instrument the Mellotron as a substitute for a full orchestra, Pinder's work served as the model for the playing of musicians such as Barclay James Harvest's Woolly Wolstenholme, Blue Weaver of the Strawbs, and, to a lesser degree, Ian McDonald of King Crimson

GmGm7CFBb % The world, is full of people, some are trying to lend a hand The first book, ever written, was a symbol of our home Oh sweet, loving music, I hear your tender call
D7GmGm7Eb To help us learn to recognise, so we can understand It came from solar heaven, where our life wave was born To me you are a river, pure love your waterfall
GmGm7CFBb That life holds many secrets, they stand before our doors We came in ships a-singing, the praise of one above A tide forever bathing, a rough and rocky shore
D7GmGm7C / / / Admit the ones you're hiding now, so you may know them all Like children in a garden, our hearts were full of love Please take us on a journey, so we can learn some more
