G Shared a cigarette for breakfast GC Shared an airplane ride for lunch CG Sitting in between a ghost EmC And a walking bowl of punch G Can you play a little hunch?
G Predicting a delay on landing GC Well I predict we'll have a drink CG Lost my money on the first hand EmC Got burned on a big fat king G And your ears are gonna ring Am And your eyes just wanna close G Nothing changes I suppose
[Chorus] CG It's too late to turn back, here we go CG Portland, oh no CG It's too late to turn back, here we go CG Portland, oh no
[Em G]
G We'll wait away the raindrops GC Look out boy, you'll catch cold CG Serving boy can chain nothing EmC That ain't anchored to his throne G But at least he's going home
G Sitting like a backwoods junkie GC Caught down in a servant trust CG Look at the funny monkey EmC Putting silver in his cup
G And your silver turns to rust Am And your secondhand clothes G Trust no one I suppose
[Chorus] G Shared a cigarette for breakfast GC Shared a pack of lies for lunch CG Credit card almighty EmC Bringing in the next little bunch
G And you owe me on a hunch Am And your eyes just wanna close G And nothing changes I suppose
