Michelle Malone (born Atlanta, Georgia) is an American rock and blues singer-songwriter and guitarist. As well as albums in her own name, she has released albums as Michelle Malone and Drag the River and with Band de Soleil.
Armed with a bottleneck slide, blues harmonica, and her signature gut-wrenching vocals, Moanin’ Michelle Malone ( a nickname given to her by Albert King after hearing her sing), is having so much fun these days that she can’t help but shake her Sugarfoot!

Grace (Michelle Malone) >From Michelle Malone's _Beneath the Devil Moon_ Transcribed by April Haitsuka ([email protected])
If you listen to the album, the timing of the main riff (E-G-A-B) is easy to pick up. It stays pretty much the same throughout the whole song.
It sounds best to play all the chords in the chorus as barres, i.e., B (2nd fret), C (3rd fret), G (3rd fret), D (5th fret). On the main riff, I play E, G, and A open.
N.C. EGAB I was up all night EGAB Dreaming of you EGAB Pretty valentine, GA She's bleeding again from the sole of her shoes GA She's got to carry the weight of the truth.
Could you take it easy on me? Could you take it easy on me? Would you like to see me crawling? Would it do any good? Good would do if it could.
Main riff (1X)
I was up all night Drinking of you. We got into a fight. Love always drains the life out of me, But I can't complain. I'm in the deep freeze.
Could you take it easy on me? Would you make it easy on me? Would you like to see me crawling? Would it do any good? Good would do if it could Through the grace of your heart.
Chorus: BCGD I'd be alright through the grace of your heart. BCGD Sleep through the night through the grace of your heart. BCGD Keep me in line through the grace of your heart. BCGD Keep me alive through the grace of your heart.
Main riff (4X)
I got up alright, Breakfast for two. The pieces of hate all over the room. Your love is a light. It leads to my soul. It's melting the wall And drowning me so.
Would you take it easy on me? Could you make it easy on me? Would you like to see me crawling? Would it do any good? Good would do if it could Through the grace of your heart.
I'd be alright through the grace of your heart. Sleep through the night through the grace of your heart. Swallow my pride through the grace of your heart. Buried alive through the grace of your heart.
