Martin Newell is England's most-published contemporary poet, as well as being the brains behind garage-pop combos Cleaners from Venus and The Brotherhood of Lizards. He's also a pretty mean gardener.
His album The Greatest Living Englishman was produced by Andy Partridge of XTC fame and recorded in Andy's "shed" home recording studio.
