Little Texas was conceived in 1988, in Nashville, Tennessee, by a handful of guys in their early twenties who were willing to do just about anything to bring their brand of rockin’ country to the forefront of the music industry. Before hitting the big time, the band crisscrossed America for three long years, playing every bar and honky tonk from Myrtle Beach, SC, to Los Angeles, CA, all the while writing songs that were destined to change the sound of modern country, and perfecting a stage show that has been critically acclaimed worldwide.
Four years of hard work! This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

Amy's Back In Austin By Little Texas G5C9G5 We left Texas on a windy night in a beat up Chevy van EmC9D We loaded it up with our innocent dreams and all the love we had G5C9G5 We didn't know then how hard it was livin' on our own EmC9D I'd find her crying late at night, talking to the folks back home AmEmC9D
I wonder what went wrong; and where is she now I'd love to know G5C9 c. I bet Amy's back in Austin working at LaZona Rosa Cafe G5D I remember the night we lost it and the day she went away G5 Was it the anger words or did she miss her mama C9 I don't know but it don't feel right EmC9DG5 I bet Amy's back in Austin and I'm missing her tonight G5C9G5 Working ten hours in a West Coast sun can make the days so long EmC9D And watching the moon crashing into the ocean alone sure gets old repeat chorus: C9Em Bridge: Could this desert wind carry me back again AmC9D With my heart in my hand; baby I'm missing you
