Levellers is a popular English rock band influenced by punk and traditional English music. The band is based in Brighton, England, where they were founded in 1988. There are several stories regarding how they got their name; from the Levellers, a radically democratic faction of Oliver Cromwell's New Model Army; as a reference to "The Level", a flat open space near where members of the band used to live in Brighton; or simply, according to guitarist, Simon Friend, a word they chose from a dictionary.
Four years of hard work! This month of May we celebrated four years on the air. We continue working on the dissemination of this wonderful instrument, thank you for participating in our story!

This is "Dog Train" by the Levellers on the brilliant "Mouth to Mouth" album. It is quite simple but if you have any changes to make then mail me at [email protected]
(Jon plays a melody with his fiddle over the top of these intro chords)
1st verse
F#m Well this is murder EB Yeah I'm on the dog train DA When all the breaks have failed EF#m And I'm going down hill. F#m And if you see me wave EB Yeah I'm only saying bye-bye DA There's not a single tear EF#m here in my eyes.
Chorus
F#m La la la la la EB La la la la la la la la DA La la la la la EF#m La la la
Repeat intro chords once with different melody on fiddle over the top.
2nd verse (Same chords as first verse)
And if you heard this before Yeah I'm going to say it again That life was easy when I didn't have a clue Because this is my job Yeah I'm getting dog tired Let's make the world brand new How about you
Chorus (x2)
Play intro chords once again but this time there is brass over the top of them.
