DmF My brother let the heart just beat C Drink your wine smoke your weed DmF My brother let the heart still beat DmAm And wear your silver lining CG Wear it close to your skin
Dm But if it's the drugs the women the wine the weed AmC The love that took everything I own G Just take it all oh oh Dm And tell the ones you love you love them AmC Teach only what you know and oh G You better know it well
DmF We drove from coast to coast C Down in New Orleans Where the levees broke
Dm You were tripping F I was driving C You were running I was hiding
DmF And you know I know how that feels C Don't get cheated kid Just swing from your heels DmF And if you get carried away C Let the music play you through the pain
DmAm And wear your silver lining CG Wear it close to your skin
Dm But if it's the drugs the women the wine the weed AmC The love that took everything I own G Just take it all oh oh Dm And tell the ones you love you love them AmC Teach only what you know and oh G You better know it well
