The National Parks

Biography:

The National Parks are an Indie Folk band formed in Provo, Utah and made up of Brady Parks (Denver, CO) on guitar, kick drum and vocals, Sydney MacFarlane (Kaysville, UT) contributing vocals, keyboard, tambourine and glockenspiel, and Bae Sorenson (Salt Lake City, UT) adding violin and vocal harmonies. OOOOOOOOOOhhhhhhhhh!!! :)
C C
I want to settle down south in the Spring

C G
Make a bed in the meadow and lay till I dream.
C
Until I dream.

C C
I see your white house far from the road
Am G C
In a place where the forest grows
C C
I stand alone when you come outside
Am G C
I see your face for the first time

F
And I knew that I would find,
F C
I knew that I would find you my dear.
F F
And all the roads that I have walked and walked,
F C
And now you're standing here.
Am G F C
And I will never let you go

C C
Well I remember when we ran off young
Am G C
Your daddy said no but we were in love
C C
And there you stood in the church house dressed in white
Am G C
Dark braided hair, my beautiful bride

F
And I knew that I would find,
F C
I knew that I would find you my dear.

F F
And all the roads that I have walked and walked,
C
And now you're standing here.
Am G F C
And I will never let you go
Am G F C
No I will never let you go!

Am G F C
Well I loved you till I grew old and died
Am G F C
And I woke up in the meadow to my surprise
Am G F C
It was then I knew I could never go back
Am G F F F F F F F F
It was then I knew that you were real in a dream

F C
Let go of your ways....no!!!

Am G F C, Am G F C
oooohhhhh oooooohhhhh
Am G F C
And I don't want to let you go,
Am G F C
No I don't want to let you go,
Am G F C
But I will have to let you go.

Am G F C
But I will have to let... you go.
