This song is normally played without a capo in the key of C, but it can be quite hard to play like that. I learnt to play it in G with a capo on the 5th fret (making it sound in the key of C) and I found it a lot easier to link the verses with the bridge that way, and the intro is a lot easier and sounds a lot better that way.
