Tamia Marilyn Washington (Nacida el 9 de Mayo de 1975, en Windsor, Ontario, Canada) es una cantante de R&B y actriz ocasional. Comenzó su carrera a los 18 años, ayudada por el productor Quincy Jones, con quien colaboró grabando un sencillo, llamado "You Put A Move On My Heart", el cual recibió una nominación a los Grammy's. Luego de numerosas colaboraciones para soundtracks, (Recibiendo además 2 nominaciones al Grammy) lanzó su primer disco, homónimo, en 1998.
