[Verse 1] D Here we are again Bm Awake at 5 AM GA I didn't mean a word I said D Can we just pretend? Bm I can take it back GA Change the way the story ends D I remember when Bm Things were simple then GA Didn't always hurt this way D I would fall asleep Bm You would carry me GA You would take my fears away
[Pre-Chorus] D Am I messed up? Bm Forever flawed G Beyond repair A But forever yours
[Chorus] D All my life Bm All I ever did was try and try G I never meant to be your problem child A Your problem child D I don't know why Bm I always found a way to make you cry G I never meant to be your problem child A Your problem child
[Verse 2] D When you look at me Bm I wonder if you see GA All the things you thought I could be D Or all the crazy nights Bm All the stupid fights GA All the tears that filled our eyes
