Existen dos bandas llamadas así, una formada en Brasil por ex miembros de Angra y el nombre originario de los finlandeses Korpiklaani
SHAMAN (FIN) Nombre que tuvo originalmente la banda finlandesa Korpiklaani, que realizó una demotape Odda mailbmi (1998), y dos álbums: Idja (1999) y Shamániac (2002).
SHAMAN (BRA) Para el año 2000 Angra se dividió y tres miembros se fueron a formar otra banda llamada Shaman. Los integrantes de Shaman son Andre Matos,Luis Mariutti, Ricardo Confessori y Hugo Mariutti.
