Seether

Biography:

Seether are a rock band founded in May 1999 in Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa. The band originally performed under the name Saron Gas until 2002, when they moved to the United States and changed it to Seether to avoid confusion with the deadly chemical known as sarin gas.

Seether gained mainstream popularity in 2002 with their US Active Rock number one single "Fine Again", and their success was sustained in 2004 with the single "Broken", which peaked at number 20 on the Billboard Hot 100.

[Verse]
A G Am C G
Wake Like a pendulum swinging in circles, you can't relate to a world that don't involve your greed
F G
And as I say this the words are pouring from a bleeding mouth,
F G E
but if i stay here you'll only render me the weak one

[Bridge]
D Em E D Am
So Turn that focus back off me now, Go get your broken mirror

[Chorus]
Am Em C Em Dm Am
The more you get the more you need now, And it all comes down to your love of misery

Am E C Dm Em G
The consequences plan out the seeds now, But in the cold black clouds you will find it hard to scream

[Verse 2]

Hate, I wish i could find a way to turn this around, But if i play god then everything just goes to seed
F G
and as i say this i hope that you can hear me bleeding out,
Am F Am E
oh god i hate this i'm all alone and i am beaten down

[Bridge 2]
D Am E Am D Am
So Turn that focus back off me now, Go get your broken mirror

The more you get the more you need now, And it all comes down to your love of misery
